Sundays.

Today is Sunday and I feel particularly lazy, so here are things I think Sundays are good for (Besides taking naps, for some reason in recent years if I try to nap during the day I inevitably have sleep paralysis.)

Make tea - I think I'll write an entire post about tea, I love tea. Thrift shops are ideal for just about everything, but especially teacups. I like sugar cubes and oat milk in English breakfast tea, I think it's a fine way to wake up in the morning.

Bake something - Recently I found some postcards which have recipes, one for strawberry cake and one for apple cake, which really put me in the mood for cake last Sunday.

Mend something - I find that Sunday is the best day to mend clothing. To take things in, fix holes etc. Recently I got a lot of clothes at charity shops when I was in England, but the majority of them were too big. If you have a sewing machine, everything is your size.

Read - I think every day is a good day to read but Sunday feels especially good for it, especially if it's a rainy Sunday, there is nothing better. Last Sunday I was reading "Lightbringers of the North", a book about occult mysteries of Finland. Since reading the Kalevala I have been very interested in Finnish magic, I also think it is little known or less widely studied than magic from other parts of Europe, which makes me all the more interested in it. This Sunday I am reading Dracula.

Play a video game - I have been debating making posts about video games I enjoy, I really love video games but it feels bit off topic to discuss on my blog, but I'm not exactly sure. I guess I simply second guess everything and I'm not certain about anything. Anyway, lately I've been playing Palia, it's a bit like animal crossing. Cute art, you get to decorate a house and farm and build stuff but you can also romance npc's, I find it really peaceful and comfy to play.

I feel that every day of the week is good for some specific thing, I feel most powerful on Thursdays because I was born on a Thursday and Friday is the best day to love yourself or someone else, I think Sunday is a day to stay at home.
