Vecka 25

It is the 25th week of 2024 and it is my last week before I return to the US. I will return to Sweden in the winter.

On Monday I returned to Svarte to look for stones on the beach. While this beach is two hours away from me, the beach in my town does not have the same type of stones and I'm really fond of these.

I want to go here often because there are so many beautiful stones, many of them are very smooth and really pleasant to touch and anytime I've been here it's been practically empty, it's perfect.

I was collecting stones primarily for my friends and family, but some things are for myself.

I was so happy to find so many hag stones, the last time I came here I found one and I was thrilled, I've wanted one for a long time and I'm so happy to have found a place where I can collect them!

The sea glass was really cool too, the one on the far left has an interesting pattern on it and I wonder what it broke off from.

I was very excited to see poppies! I've never seen them in the wild before. From the train I saw a field of them.

On Wednesday I went back to Pålsjö skog, my favorite forest which I've written about before.

I was so happy to meet this little friend!

On Thursday I visited the island of Ven, near Landskrona. It was a really beautiful time, I rented a bike and had vanilla and elderflower ice cream.

Now I am preparing to celebrate Midsommar tomorrow.
