Glastonbury is one of my most favorite places and absolutely one of the most magical places on Earth. I've decided to make two posts about it because there is a lot to say! First of all, Chalice well is so amazing and I don't know where to begin about it. The water is immensely healing, Glastonbury as a whole is the best place for Goddess worship and general reverence for the divine feminine, but it is strongest to me at the well.

The well is the supposed hiding place of the holy grail and the waters have a high iron content, making them red-tinged and giving them a taste similar to blood. There is a place here where the water is safe to drink, and sitting beside it and drinking from it is a profoundly healing experience. Whenever I'm here I feel so unburdened and light and joyful and overwhelmed with love.

It is also a garden, and I got to see foxglove again!

I found this necklace here (The gift shop is a metaphysical store, there are really delightful things it's wonderful, this necklace was made in Cornwall, another magical place I hope to visit next time!)

I recently wrote about hares and their presence in my life currently, so seeing hare motifs and especially in magical places like this feels like a sign! I also got a new oracle deck:

I'm considering making posts reviewing my various decks and occult books etc, I have been reading cards since I was a child so I think it might be fun. I used to read for other people and I think I may start doing so again. I think I may begin again in exchange for tips on ko-fi.
Speaking of, Glastonbury is an incredible town outside of the historical, magical sites, because of the amount of metaphysical shops. If you've ever been to Salem, it's very similar! Shopping here is a dream.

Aside from just witchy shops there are tons of amazing clothing stores. I love buying clothes at thrift stores (charity shops as they're called over here) but Glastonbury has an abundance of sustainable/handmade clothing stores and they are splendid.
Tomorrow I will share things from Glastonbury tor, Glastonbury Abbey and Worth house the place I stayed and where I intend to stay next time I come here!

The well seems like such an amazing place!
