Enchanted living magazine

Recently writing about Hellbore made me want to write about other magazines I enjoy. Enchanted living is my favorite magazine and I've been collecting it for many years, since back when it used to be titled "Faerie magazine". The issues are all themed and it's a wonderful way to learn about specific periods in the history of art and literature, learn different pieces of folklore and every issue is full of recipes for all kinds of magical things (There are pdfs of all the past issues here if you want to look)

I have been cutting out art and recipes from this magazine to fill my Grimoire for a long time.

I think that the above is a good descriptor of myself, and of the sort of woman I hope would find my blog interesting.

I've recently begun a new Grimoire and I'm happy to have Enchanted Living to help me fill it up, not that I don't also write my own spells and rituals but this magazine has so many recipes I'm eager to try and that feels like the best place to keep them. Here are a few of them I have saved, but if you like them I encourage you to check out the magazine for yourself!

I have not been posting here lately as I've just been busy and there are always periods where life is more mundane than enchanted for me (I suppose it's necessary to keep a balance of both) I've begun reading tarot at a metaphysical shop and I'm soon to be holding classes there as well, I'm very excited! My birthday is also coming up on the 17th. I hope you're well, and I hope to take you on more adventures with me soon. Art and literature are good ways to have adventures while you're sitting at home, however. Actually, I spend most of my time during periods like this reading manga and playing video games but I figure those things don't really suit the aesthetic of this blog. I'd been considering making a blog just to share what manga I like/what games I enjoy/cosplay things. Perhaps I will.
