I've read 18 books so far this year and I wanted to catch up with them on here so that at the end of March I can just start making monthly posts about what I've read each month. Here are the things from January and February, including what I dropped etc. Most of these are from my bookstagram, bunnys.bookburrow.

Lud-in-the-mist, my first read of the year, something for my irl book club and now one of my most favorite books ever! I think this will likely be the best thing I've read all year. I LOVE faeries and I'm definitely back in my faerie hyperfixation and beginning the year with this is part of that. It's a gorgeous fantasy novel that reads like a fairytale, its witty and sentimental and moving.
Horror movie, part of my TBR challenge (A list of books I took off of my giant TBR and I have to get physical copies of them and I get $10 when I finish them, and $20 if they're over 500 pages.) I seriously disliked this and would not have finished it without the $10.
Junji Ito's Frankenstein, the netflix movie as well as this manga adaptation made January such a treat. The novel is one of my favorites ever and I loved this, I really want Junji Ito to adapt more horror classics.

I read my first Agatha Christie novel, I used an Egyptian pound as a bookmark and I had so much fun reading this! It made me eager to play hunt a killer again.

I tried three Jane Austen novels this year and have realized I really do not enjoy her work unfortunately.

6 and 7, one for my online book club and both of them being part of my TBR challenge.

8-11, and what I did not finish for January.
The four loves, by C.S Lewis. I am still very much a Pagan, but I am interested in Christian Mysticism and in Christ himself as an ascended master and I wanted to read some Christian literature, and I really enjoyed this book and found it very sweet.

In February I had my shelf decorated for Valentines day!

First read of February was also one of my favorites for the year, I LOVED this and I'm so excited to continue the series.

I'm excited to continue posting about everything I've read at the end of each month!
