Raus kyrka

This is one of my favorite forests/trails, and I found it by accident!

I got this book at Sci-fi Bokhandlen and I'm obsessed with it, it has many interesting places typically with a spiritual or historical or folklore association around Skane

Initially I came here to see the church, because it has this strange little face on it meant to ward off trolls

I went last summer, but my best pictures from here are from autumn

I made a video when I was here during autumn as well

Recently I went when Spring was still just beginning and thus was very wet and kind of winter-y still. I went so that I could write down a fear and tie it with a bunch of knots to a heavy stone which I sank in the river. A practice I encourage everyone to try.

This is a wonderful forest with a very long trail, the church is interesting too but I find it very refreshing and it's a wonderful adventure to walk the trail, which begins a bit behind the church over a bridge crossing the river, and ends in the cemetery.
