Skåne travel week Day 2 - Odinsjön

On day two I finally made it to the correct area to visit the lake, I was thrilled to see a troll as soon as I arrived!

I saw this as I was walking in, I really love stone circles and it made me happy to see.

These are two friends I met on my way.

There are two trails, one that goes directly to the lake and one that goes up and over the rim of the basin around it, the path is very narrow and I accidentally ascended because I got confused about which trail to take. I kept becoming more and more anxious and eventually my anxiety was making me nauseated and I thought it would be bad for me to get sick up there so I turned back and found the proper trail

I was so happy to make it here, this lake is very magical and I really hope I can return one day.

On the way home two of the trains were canceled and it resulted in the train I took home being incredibly crowded.

I do all of these things to try to conquer my anxiety, hiking alone makes me very anxious, using public transportation makes me very anxious, and it really does not get easier but regardless of that I have to keep pressing on forever. I'm very proud of myself for how I handled my anxiety today and I hope I have more opportunities to overcome myself in the future. Exploring and going on adventures is therapeutic to me, and I am very excited for the rest of the week.
