umKava and Tiger Dust
Aside from my work being featured at the bookshelf grand opening recently, some of my poems are now at the usual cafe where I go to play mtg with my fiance, and at the oddity shop where my book club is held! I want to share and talk about them, and I'm so thankful that these businesses think my work is good enough to be represented in their spaces. At the cafe, there is this one about one of my first rats who passed away. She was a really darling, gentle thing. I really love

The Bookshelf grand opening
I was so honored this weekend to have some of my poetry featured at the grand opening of The Bookshelf, one of my poems was given away with every purchase, though they ran out a few hours before the end of the event, I really wish I had printed more! These were the poems which were featured: A Changeling is a Faerie child swapped with a human child at birth. The ogham (The lines at the top) spell Aisling, my “magical name” which I received in a dream and use in Pagan space

The Ringling
I spent the other day at one of my favorite art galleries and gardens. There is also obviously much to do with the history of the circus here, but I am less interested in that. I had creme brulee for the first time in a while, it's one of my favorites. A little early for roses I think but some of them were out, and they were beautiful. I got these matching plushies for myself and one of my best friends in NYC, I brought them to take pictures of them together before I send it

NYC
Recently I visited NYC with my grandmother. It was my second time coming here, and while I generally do not like large cities, it was full of memories I will cherish with her forever. I hope to visit again perhaps next year with someone else. There are many things to do. Despite the grime, there is a lot of beauty and magic to be discovered. On Ellis island I discovered my ancestor who came there from Ireland, and I have taken his name for my pen name. As I feel that my novel

Reading update
I've read 18 books so far this year and I wanted to catch up with them on here so that at the end of March I can just start making monthly posts about what I've read each month. Here are the things from January and February, including what I dropped etc. Most of these are from my bookstagram, bunnys.book burrow. Lud-in-the-mist, my first read of the year, something for my irl book club and now one of my most favorite books ever! I think this will likely be the best thing I've

2026
I am a bit late to talk about the new year BUT it's still Winter so it's okay. I want to start writing here again! In February I went to Vancouver and had a lovely time, I'm very eager to go again. In a week however I'll be going to NYC with my grandmother, I'm really excited! I visited a bunny cafe while I was there and got to spend time with this cutie named Simon!! I have been working on rebuilding my relationship with food and having a healthier relationship with my body.

Japan
I have been on hiatus for so long! But now I'm back, and going to share things from my trip to Japan last August. I also intend to start posting regularly again. I spent my 30th birthday back where I was born in Yokosuka, above is a picture of me at 13 and a picture of me on my birthday last year! This shrine was walking distance from my hotel and I went here to pray every morning! Some beautiful dolls I saw, I was especially excited about the FFXIV ones! I brought home two l
